Christian education in pre-primary education in the Kingdom of Spain

The aim of this diploma thesis was to investigate the position of Christian education in preschool education in Spain and how it is practically applied in preschool facilities. Theoretical part deals with Spanish education system, education of religion in European context, educational legislation with an emphasis on religion and its connection with Spanish state, the specifics of teaching of religion and teacher qualification requirements. The practical part aimed to translate and analyse the content of the Curriculum for the religious area and catholic morality in preschool education. This analysis found out that teaching of religion is a unique way to naturally connect several different educational areas. The second part of the research consisted of case studies of four preschools, two catholic and two public. The characteristics of the visited schools, observations of lessons of religion and three teaching materials were analysed and compared. There were observable similarities and differences between visited catholic and public schools, for example in the way the school presented itself or in the ratio of the number of students attending Religion lessons to Ethics lessons. The first chapter of the work is focused on the theoretical bases. It outlines the situation of education as a space of meeting of freedom and autonomy of the educator and the child/teenager and shows the factors influencing the future form of the youth's identity. The following chapters demonstrate the role of parents as the primary education providers, the role of the youths themselves as the creators of their own identity and the possible obstacles that can make education more complicated. The diploma thesis is concerned with education of young people and it is introducing key aspects for its theoretical reflection, thinks the aspects over and its practical implementation. It is focused to a posibility of aplication the knowledges and the processes from psychology and pedagogy and shows the necessity of a dialog between the practical-theological reflection and the secular access. It points the christian education of youth as a complex unit, which deserves special attention. It explorer, beside other things, the question of educational targets and also relevant issues for the nowadays youth. These things are closely connected with cognition of specifity young man and the environment where he lives and which influences him. And also for this reason this diploma work shows the line of these aspects. As a penetration of general finding out the christian education and the youth situation expresses several means which play the important part of christian education of the youth.
Christian appreciation of Montessori and Waldorf pedagogy

Work in the six chapters first formulates thesis of the need to address the problem of loss of quality of teaching of the Catholic religion. This is then given to the second chapter, which carefully considers its history. After a brief third chapter which collectively will talk about alternative education speak collectively alternative education is included in this current analytical processing analysis Montessori and Waldorf education. It analysis processes the history of the founders of both pedagogies and the relation to the didactic triangle educator - curriculum - student. The sixth chapter is a synthesis of findings and draw conclusions about the relationship of spirituality to Christianity and usability of teaching methods. Bible Stories in Kindergarten

The purpose of my Bachelor work is a methodical process of chosen biblical stories in a way to fulfill requests of RVP PV (educational programme). At the same time the impact of these stories on children from families that do not practice active religion is verified. The theoretical part is devoted to mapping The Christian education in pre-school education; the meaning of biblical stories, concentrating on their content, the message and contribution to the children in pre-school age. In the practical part there are methodically processed biblical stories which were realized within a Christian kindergarten class. The method of observing and questioning is used to discover conscious understanding of religion.
Preference values of young people from Christian families.

This thesis follows up young people's value preferences in period of young adulthood. These people are coming from Christian's families and were led to Christian's merits in childhood. Aim of the thesis is to find out significant life priorities of these people and their influence on motives, attitudes, targets and way of their life. Theoretical part includes not only information about basic terms concerning values, needs and motivations, their description and division, but it also deals with Christianity and family as basic Christian merit. Theoretical part also describes human's ontogenesis in context of evolution of his spirituality focusing on adolescence and young adulthood evolution phases. Empirical part of thesis includes qualitative research analysis. This research is trying to find out the effect of family traditions, Christian education, parent's faith and perception of church societies influence of activities on life and preferred merits of informants. At analysis of obtained data it was used qualitative attitude with method of questioning and interview technique.
Qualitative Research of the Value Socialization in Activities and Rituals in Cardinal Beran Preschool in Pilsen

In my bachelor's thesis I concern with the value socialization of the preschool children in the environment of alternative Christian maternity school. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical one and the practical one. In the theoretical one there I explain the expressions which are connected with this topic and I outline progress theories which are important for understanding the preschool children. In the practical part there I set investigative questions, reveal used methods of the qualitative investigation, its progress and results. I introduce the Maternity School of Cardinal Beran in Pilsen, its philosophy and real activities. I focus on specifics of its activities in my research and then I deduce conclusions for the whole image of the influence of this education for creating values in the life of a child.
The Assesment of the Influences of the Education on the Preschool Children and Teen-agers for the Acquiring of the Basis of Christian Faith and the Formation of their Christian Life

The aim of the presented theses is to discover and to compare the impacts of the education on the children in the preschool care and on the schoolchildren (teen-agers) as far as the acquiring of the basis of the Christianity as a religion and the formation of their life as Christians. In principle the corn of the theses lies in the assessment of the influence of different factors (as the family, friends, priest, Christian broadcasting, literature, participation of the parish activities) on the Christian faith of children and young people. In other words, whether the formation of the Christian life gained through the family (from birth up) has a more stabile and permanent experiences with God than the faith acquired at a later stage of growing up. The methods of testing, of questionnaire survey and the method of monitoring the behaviour of children and young people were used in the theses. The outcome of my research was the finding, that even if some adolescents have an interest in the matters of faith and God, this meeting with the religion does not form deep relationships to the faith as such and to the God. Only by a slight number of the young people has such a late cognition an influence on the formation of their future Christian life. By contrast, the acquiring of the Christian faith from the childhood on has other difficulties. The Christian faith of children faces the misunderstanding of classmates and later on of an atheist partner. Fort the maintenance of the faith of the adolescents the factors like family values, stand-points and patterns are of special importance.
Conscience and Value System Development As Part of Christian Education in Childhood

The bachelors assignment deals with the question of conscience development and value system as part of Christian education in childhood. The work describes conscience in the framework of historical development, including modern findings of notable researchers. It further maps the historic background of values, their function and kinds and also the basic factors influencing their formation. It then deals with axiology as a science studying values in the moral meaning of the word, and also with Christian education, especially its specification. As a conclusion, an example of an educational system in the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren is put forward.
Introducing a child into the celebration of Holy Mass in the reflection of preparations for the first Holy Communion

This thesis deals with the preparation of children for the first Holy Communion and their introduction into active and conscious celebration of Holy Mass. The theoretical part describes specifics of Christian education, typical features of younger school age?s children and nature of religious education and catechesis. Further more it describes the basic definition of the liturgy, the ways or possibilities of a true celebration of liturgical celebrations. The practical part is made up of two areas. The first section is based on the theoretical part and its basis characterizes the basic criteria which the preparation for first Holy Communion should respect. The second section contains a brief characterization of twelve books and series about the preparation for the first Holy Communion. These materials are reflected from three aspects ? if they are intended for teaching religion or catechesis, whether they count in cooperation with the family and possibly with the parish, or if they ultimately prepare children for their active and conscious participation in Holly Mass. The review is not aimed only to criticise, but rather wants to emphasize the potential benefits of a particular material and thus its importance in the systematic introducing of children into the celebration of the liturgy, from which it is possible to gain the true joy and hope.
